Cat Behaviour Programmes

Cat behaviour programmes are for felines who have toileting issues within the home, or for those introducing a new cat, or kitten to the house with an existing cat already present.

Cat behaviour programmes are online. The length of the programme would need to be assessed after an initial telephone chat. Once this has been decided the programme will follow the format below:

• The programme begins with ‘Fact finding week’, where you will be required to document your cats weekly routine and film the layout of your home, also keep a diary.

• This is followed by an initial online behavioural assessment, where I discuss the motivation behind your cat’s behaviour and create a detailed behavioural plan created specifically for your cat.

• Further sessions will be over consecutive weeks, via video call.

• Information will be sent each week, containing all the concepts, skills and exercises for you to keep.

• The facility to communicate with me so I can critique and help you with tips and advice for you to achieve the most out of the course.

• The programme is completely individual, and tailored to your cat’s precise needs.

• I will communicate with your veterinary practice and forward a full behavioural report.

• Most insurance companies will cover for behavioural therapy but you will need to check with them directly.
