Penny has been working on referral as an animal behaviour counsellor since 2005. She is based in Caterham, Surrey and holds consultations all over the south and south-east.
Penny attained a degree in Psychology in 2002 and her degree thesis was 'innate and learned animal cognition'. She holds the BVNA certificate in canine and feline behaviour and the COAPE diploma in canine and feline behaviour training for the CAPBT. She is also a qualified veterinary nurse.
She believes in using kind methods of training whereby force is never needed to correct behaviour.
Penny has given her own seminar to vets and veterinary nurses on topics such as 'understanding canine and feline behaviour in the workplace' and 'puppy socialisation and habituation'.
She lives with her Rottweiler Gypsy, cats Harry and Maggie.
